Internal Wall Insulation (IWI) Grant
If your home was built before 1930-49, it is likely to have a solid wall. Internal Wall Insulation is a suitable solution for all solid wall properties. However, it is typically used in homes where External Wall Insulation is not appropriate, such as listed buildings or those in a conservation area. Please note that installing internal wall insulation can be disruptive and may require removing and re-fixing items such as switches, radiators, skirting and rooms may not be useable while work is going . The thickness of internal wall insulation can vary from brand to brand, which may reduce interior living space. Typically, it ranges from 60mm to 100mm.
Key Benefits of Internal Wall Insulation
Internal wall insulation is a cost-effective alternative to external wall insulation. It provides better thermal performance, which leads to reduced heat loss through interior walls, resulting in lower energy bills. Additionally, our insulation system contributes to improved air quality by preventing drafts and dampness inside the building. We are proud to offer a 25-year product guarantee to back up our work.
